Full Slate Planned at Kil-Kare Friday

by Jerry Wahl

Xenia, OH. - It will be a full night of racing action at Kil-Kare Speedway Friday night with a schedule of events that should appease any and all fans. For the first time the Super Cup Stock Car Series (SCSCS) will make an appearance at Kil-Kare with a 100 lap feature topping their division. Heading the entry list of the SCSCS cars is a driver well known to the Kil-Kare fans, Megan Reitenour of Miamisburg. Reitenour won the season opening event for the SCSCS at the Tri-County Motor Speedway in Hudson N.C. earlier in the year.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Models, Modifieds, and Oakley Blacktop Compacts will be running feature events with all eyes on Fairborn's John Vallo who will be seeking that magical 300th career feature win.

Also on tap will be the young drivers of the IKO Mini Cup cars for their second appearance of the year on the fifth mile track.

And then capping the night of activity will be the fast and wild full size school bus Figure-8 and bus Demolition Derby as the big busses take to the tight figure-8 course and then end the evening with a grinding demolition derby.

All of the excitement will start when the gates open at 6 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. and admission is just $15 per adult, 11 through 15 $5 and young fans eleven and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
