Thursday, July 3 K-C will host "The Night the Stars Come Out" featuring
the
IRS (Independent Racing Series) Late Models and All-Star Circuit of

"gold-star" events on the K-C Raceway schedule. The success of the event
has
made it one of the gems in modern dirt track racing. This year's event is
set for Thursday, July 3 at Jim Nier's K-C Raceway near Chillicothe, Ohio.
Originally staged with the now defunct Renegade Stars, "The Night the
Stars
Come Out" has been established as one of the top early-summer racing
events
nationwide. This year the All-Stars share top-billing with the IRS late
models.
"The Night the Stars Come Out" is a showcase event that allows drivers
from
across the country to show their talents and enter their names in the K-C
record books.
The typical All Star race program consists of time trials, qualifying heat
races, a Dash and C, B and A Main events, determined by the number of cars
signed in for an event. An over $25,000 purse is being posted, paying
$5,000
to win. Hobby Stocks will also be on the racing card.
There will be no racing July 5 nor July 12. The next regular show after
"The Night The Stars Come Out" will be July 19. On July 26 The World of
Outlaw sprints highlight the racing card.
