40^TH Annual ‘Hillbilly Hundred’ Advance Tickets Now On Sale!

Carl Short and BDS Promotions, in conjunction with the Lucas Oil Dirt Car Series, Arizona Sport Shirts and STARS proudly announce that America’s oldest major dirt Late Model event will return to ‘the Bullring’, as the Tyler County Speedway will host the richest one day event purse in the country Labor day weekend Friday, August 29^th- Sunday, August 31st! The nation’s most talented and popular Late Model drivers will all converge on the historic ¼ mile to determine who will take home an unprecedented $40,000 winner’s share of the record purse.

The 40^th annual Hillbilly Hundred will be the finale of a remarkable weekend of racing. Beginning Friday, August 29^th, the gates will swing open at 3pm for each of the next 3 days, as the 3 day Labor Day weekend racefest will serve up a “heapin’ helping” of dirt track excitement under the lights. Not for the ‘wine & cheese crowd’, this is the ‘in your face, wheel banging, hang it all out’ style of racing that Tyler County Speedway fans have come to expect. If you got any closer to the action, we’d have to issue seat belts and helmets when you come through the gate!

Friday night’s opener will host the ‘KoM Crate Late Models $1500 to win ‘Brown Jug 30’ and the $500 to win Mod-Lite ‘Sour Mash 20’ shows, along with prelims for the running of the $2000 to win “AMRA Nationals” Road Warrior Tour event and an open practice for all other divisions.

The $4000 to win ‘Hillbilly 50’ for the Steel Block Late Models and the $2000 to win AMRA Nationals ‘White Lightnin’ event headline Saturday evening along with prelims for the running of the ‘Lil Hilly‘ $750 to win Pure Stock special.

Sunday, August 31^st the grand-daddy of the Late Model major events will bring the hill’s alive, as the Lucas Oil Dirt Car’s will battle for bragging rights and the richest one day purse in America. The 40^th annual ‘Hillbilly Hundred’ is expected to set attendance records, and is sure to be remembered in dirt racing history as a landmark event.

You can assure that you’ll be a part of the excitement by purchasing your tickets in advance, and save money by doing so! Advance 3 day ticket prices are $45 for adults, with children 7-12 years of age only $12 (Kids age 6 & under are admitted free!) Advance 3 day pit passes are just $55.
