The UFo Race Championship Tour presented by Comcast will return to Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway for the 2nd time in 2008 for the "Red Miley 53" on Sunday, July 13.   $5,300 will await the winner of the 53-lap championship race.  Additionally, the leader of each lap will be paid $53 making a total of $8,109 possible to win.

The championship feature will again see a 32-car starting grid including 2 UFo and 2 track provisionals.  This event will offer a double program for late model fans as the Semi-Lates will compete for $600 to win in their championship event.  The B-Cadets will also be on the program paying $400 to the winner.  The Semi-Lates & B-Cadets will use the combined special rules package that allows virtually all area cars in those classes to be legal with weight and spoiler variances for different motor types.   An open tire rule will be in effect for all three classes.

The first appearance of the UFo Super Late Models at PPMS saw nine lead changes in the twin 30-lap features with Steve Baker from Fairmont, WV winning the first race after re-taking the lead on the final lap, and Al Atallah of Bridgeville, PA winning the 2nd race from his 12th place starting position.   This event was filmed by Viewpoint Productions for the Comcast cable network and Comcast subscribers can still view the amazing 3 and 4 wide action by using their Comcast On Demand service, and going to the Your Town folder.
