Jamison, Rhoads, Stowe, Adams, Francis and Nichols Conquer Brushcreek

> (Peebles, Ohio) When race fans and race teams converged at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex on July, 12 they were treated to bright sunny skies. As the hot afternoon sun faded into the night the action heated up on the 1/3 mile high banks. Jenera, Ohio's Clint Jamison picked up the late model feature win. Sardina, Ohio's Weasel Rhoads drove to another modified feature win. The "One Man Show" Byron Stowe picked up the legend feature win. Laurelville, Ohio's Jamey Adams picked up another bomber feature win. While West Union, Ohio's Josh Francis took the chevette/ 4 cylinder feature win and Peebles, Ohio's Matt Nichols picked up another trophy 4 cylinder dash win.

> Mark Morrison and Clint Jamison brought the late model feature field to the green. At the drop of the green Morrison shot into turn one with Jamison in tow. Morrison held the point when the action was slowed on lap two, when the caution waved for Shane Murray who had looped his mount in turn three. On the restart, leader Morrison emerged from turn one with Jamison and Marty Huntley in tow. Over the next five circuits Morrison and Jamison mixed it up for the lead as Huntley followed closely behind the duo. Jamison finally slid by Morrison on lap seven. Now in front Jamison would pull to a three car length lead over Morrison, who now had his hands full with Huntley. Jamison continued to hold the point when Huntley moved past Morrison for second on lap nine. Now in second Huntley would set his eyes on front runner Jamison, running him down over the next four circuits. Just as Huntley made the pass to take over the top spot the caution waved for Brandon
> Webber, who had spun. Scoring back to the previous lap Jamison would be the leader when the green flag dropped for the restart. Jamsion shot into turn one on the high side leaving the door open for Huntley on the bottom. As the duo entered turn two side by side Huntley began to slide up the track before looping his mount to bring the caution back out. After bringing out the caution Huntley would have to restart on the tail. On the restart, Jamison shot into turn one with Morrison, Tom Sheets, and Joey Dunseith in tow. Jamison held the point when the final caution waved when Brandon Webber looped his mount, setting up a green, white, checkered finish. Jamison held off Morrison over the final laps picking up the feature win by .437 seconds. Following Jamison and Morrison across the line was Marty Huntley, Tom Sheets, and Joey Dunseith rounding out the top five.

> Mike Gross and Brad White brought the modified feature field to the green. At the drop of the green flag Gross and White shot into turn one side by side, as the two came through turn two the field went four wide. Gross emerged with the lead followed closely by Shaun Scott, Weasel Rhoads and Mike Poe. Gross continued to hold the point when Rhoads moved by Scott on lap three to take over the second spot. The action was slowed with a lap four caution when Shaun Scott got into the back of Rhoads entering turn two sending Rhoads around. On the restart, Rhoads would slide by Gross to claim the point. Gross would hang with Rhoads over the next three circuits, before Rhoads would began to pull away. Rhoads stretched his lead over the final laps, cruising to the feature win. Following Rhoads across the line was Mike Gross, Mike Poe, Davey Warnock, and Brian Whiteman.

> Jim Hilterbran and Perry Dearing brought the Bomber feature field to the green. At the drop of the green flag the field shot into turn one with Hilterbran emerging with the lead, followed closely by Jamey Adams, Dearing, Jeremie Bretz, and Shane Newman. The action was slowed on lap two when Jeff Sheets got into Tommy Mossbarger collecting Mark Keatzel in turn one. On the Restart, Hilterbran shot through turn one with Adams, Dearing, and Bretz in tow. Hilterbran continued to hold the point for the next five circuits. The action was slowed on lap eight when leader Hilterbran rolled to a stop on the back stretch. On the restart, new leader Adams shot into turn one with Dearing, Bretz, and Newman in tow. As Dearing and Bretz battled for second front runner Adams pulled to a three car length lead. Adams held on over the final laps to pick up his second straight feature win. Following Adams across the line was Perry Dearing, Shane Newman, Brandon Thompson, and

> Byron Stowe and Tom Partin brought the legend feature field to the green. Stowe shot into turn one with the lead followed by Partin, Dave Jamison, Matt Nichols, and John Gutman. The action was slowed with a lap two caution for debris. On the restart, Stowe shot through turn one with Partin in tow followed by Dave Jamison, Matt Nichols and John Gutman. The action would quickly be slowed when Steven Partin spun to bring the caution back out. On the restart, Stowe jumped out to a four car length lead over Partin. Over the next four circuits Partin would run down Stowe, pulling to his rear bumper. Partin looked under Stowe, but was unable to make the pass. Stowe held off Partin over the final laps to pick up the feature win. Following Stowe and Partin across the line was John Gutman, Matt Nichols, and Steven Partin rounding out the top five.

> Josh Francis and Mike Strikland brought the Chevette/4 cylinder feature field to the green. At the drop of the green, the field shot into turn one with Francis emerging as the leader followed by Stickland, Dean Elliot, Kent Knoblauch, and Nick Hodges. Francis pulled to a three car length lead over Stickland in the caution free event, cruising to the feature win. Following Francis and Strickland across the the line were Dean Elliot, Nick Hodges, and Rodney Roark rounding out the top five.

> Brushcreek Motorsports Complex will take July, 19 off for the Adams County fair. Action returns to the 1/3 mile speed plant on Saturday July, 26 with a regular race.
